We understand that there may be instances where a client wishes to cancel an order or request a refund.
This policy ensures transparency, fairness, and compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

1. Cancellation Terms

Clients may cancel their translation request before the project has commenced without incurring any fees.
Once work has begun, cancellation may no longer be accepted, and charges may apply up to the full service amount depending on the stage of completion.

Because our services are custom and made to order, once translation work has started, it is often impossible to recover costs already incurred (such as translator assignment, preparation, and partial completion).

2. How to Cancel

To request a cancellation, clients must contact us by email at support@evolvecore.co.uk and include:

  • Full name and contact details
  • Order reference number
  • Reason for cancellation

We strongly recommend submitting cancellation requests as early as possible to avoid unnecessary charges.
Confirmation of cancellation will be provided in writing by our support team.

3. Refund Guidelines

3.1 Dissatisfaction with Service

If you are not satisfied with the completed translation, you may request a review or refund within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery.
Your request must include specific examples of errors or quality concerns.

All claims will be reviewed by our internal quality assurance team.
If the claim is justified, EVOLVECORE LTD may offer:

  • A free revision or correction, or
  • A partial or full refund, depending on the extent of the issue.

Refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days after confirmation.

3.2 Cancellation Before Work Begins

If cancellation is requested before any work has started, the client is entitled to a full refund of any payment already made.
This aligns with the 14-day cooling-off period provided under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

3.3 Cancellation After Work Has Commenced

If work has already begun, refunds are not guaranteed.
However, EVOLVECORE LTD will assess each case individually.
A partial refund may be issued at our discretion, based on:

  • The percentage of work already completed
  • The resources allocated
  • Any associated administrative or linguistic costs incurred

Once a translation has been completed and delivered, no refunds are available except in cases of proven service error.

3.4 Refund Timing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 calendar days and credited to the original payment method used for the order.
Please note that bank or payment-processor timelines may affect when the funds appear in your account.

4. Revision Requests

We are committed to client satisfaction and offer a 7-day revision period following delivery.
Revisions are limited to correcting objective mistakes (such as typos, omissions, or mistranslations).
Requests for stylistic or preference-based changes may be considered a new project and billed separately.

5. Exceptions

Refunds or cancellations are not applicable in the following cases:

  • The project has been fully completed and delivered as agreed.
  • Dissatisfaction is subjective (e.g., style, tone, or vocabulary preference).
  • The client provided incorrect, incomplete, or unclear source material.
  • Delays caused by the client’s failure to provide necessary information or payment.
  • Force majeure or circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control.
